Description

Description

Massive cooling power

Even with systems with intense overclocking

The Dark Rock Pro 5 features 7 high-performance copper heat pipes and a special black coating with ceramic particles. As a result, this high-end cooler keeps your CPU at peak performance at all times, even in systems with heavy overclocking and demanding workstations.

Silent Wings PWM Fans

For nearly silent operation

The 2 Silent Wings PWM fans feature advanced fluid dynamic bearings, smooth 6-pole motors, and optimized fan blades.

Thanks to the tight gap between the fan blade and the frame, the front fan provides exceptionally high air pressure. A funnel-shaped frame outlet allows for ideal air distribution. The rubberized fan frame prevents vibration transfer to the heatsink, reducing overall noise.

Speed switch

A speed switch allows you to choose between 2 modes, each affecting the fan's maximum speed and PWM curve. The silent mode provides a maximum fan speed of up to 1500rpm and is the ideal choice for regular applications. The Performance Mode allows the Silent Wings fans to spin up to 2000rpm and unleashes the full power of the Dark Rock Pro 5.

Convenient handling

Installation is very easy

Thanks to the smart features, the installation idea is simple and elegant. The detachable mesh top cover with the integrated middle fan is inserted from above. A completely black mounting kit with a pre-installed mounting bridge and fastening screws perfectly matches the black design of the cooler.

Ideal Design

Undeniable form and function

The Dark Rock coolers have been renowned for their distinctive design for many years. The Dark Rock Pro 5 follows this design and can be immediately recognized as a Dark Rock. Nevertheless, the Dark Rock Pro 5 adds its own touches to the rich history of be quiet!'s high-performance coolers.

Compatible with liquid metal thermal paste

Cooling power beyond imagination

Thanks to the nickel-plated base, the Dark Rock Pro 5 is compatible with liquid metal thermal paste, such as the DC2 Pro. The properties of the liquid metal compound combined with the Dark Rock Pro 5 allow high-end CPUs to perform at even higher levels.

Overkill for 7800X3D, but it's worth it, you have peace of mind. Max Temp in summer 72°.
It's so quiet that I'm thinking of changing all the case fans to Bequiet!

Easy installation, very quiet, but quite expensive; if your processor exceeds 200w, I wouldn't recommend it. The 270w it claims is excessive; it was tested with a 14700k in a be quiet 501 airflow.

easy installation, impressive cooling (from 78-88oC with the fan from its mother, the processor went down to 44-48oC! completely silent, comes with thermal paste already (I didn't know that). Important: it has a 3pin argb connector cable which means that if your motherboard has 4pin (like the tomahawk 450x msi) you forget about the rgb color without a converter (I missed this somewhere while noticing the rest)

I received it on 11/3/2025. I built my computer piece by piece a month ago and had the Be Quiet Pure Rock 2 FX, which was quite good but not for Ryzen. I was getting 70-80 degrees in games with this cooler. Today, after switching and installing this gem, the temperature dropped to a simple usage of 30-35 degrees and in games 50-58. It is amazing, and for someone looking to build a new system, I would say to spend a little more and get this beast. My case, for those who are wondering, is the Be Quiet Pure 500, which fits comfortably. For anyone wondering, if you have tall RAM, you can raise the fan a bit; you won't have any issues. I forgot to mention, for those with AMD, there is no need to remove the backplate; the Be Quiet Pure Rock 2 FX, as well as the Be Quiet Dark Rock Pro 5, can be installed in 10 minutes. My advice to those planning to create a new system is to invest in quality components, like the Dark Rock Pro 5, to ensure long-term reliability and high performance.

The best in air cooling. I have it on a Ryzen 9 7900X and during stress tests, I haven't seen it exceed 90 degrees. In idle situations and demanding gaming, I never saw anything above 70. Its installation was a joke, and we're talking about the first build I did 100% on my own. Quality in all aspects and for this money, full value for money. As for the volume, let's not ask for crazy things, guys, it's top in the air cooling category and fits in a spacious midi tower (I have a Be Quiet Pure Base 500DX). We can't expect such results from something small.

Easy installation, it comes ready in the box, you just place it on top and screw in two screws. It can last up to 5 years with quiet and flawless performance. I haven't seen it go above 60° (Ryzen 7 7800X3D). The only downside is that it is bulky and doesn't fit in many PC cases. Be careful, I made a mistake and now I have a case without a window until I replace it
