Description

When you purchase Batman: Arkham Knight for PS4, not only will you fight on the streets of Gotham, but you will also have the opportunity to test yourself in the challenge devised by the twisted mind of Scarecrow. Through three distinct missions, you will have to traverse a Gotham City immersed in a strange eclipse caused by Scarecrow. Fortunately, you will be able to summon the Batmobile for assistance as you attempt to eliminate the psychotic psychiatrist.

Take control of the Batmobile

For the first time in the Arkham series, you can summon the Batmobile with the press of the L1 button. Activate the afterburner to chase criminals or use the battle mode for heavy artillery.

A demonic attack

The gates of Hell open: Scarecrow attacks with fireballs while a horde of demonic chariots and an army of flaming skeletons charge at your Batmobile. Your goal is to reach the Bat-Signal, charge it up, and turn it towards Scarecrow's face. After showing Scarecrow that he won't be able to plunge Gotham into a nightmarish abyss so easily, you can proceed to the even more challenging stage.

Awakening from the Nightmare

Now Scarecrow resorts to heavy artillery and unleashes fierce attacks, such as a massive energy beam that detects the Batmobile. In addition to Scarecrow's demonic gaze, you will also have to fight his demonic horde. But if you manage to keep them at bay, you will be able to confront Scarecrow's ultimate revenge weapon.

    Although I expected it to be the climax of the Arkham series, unfortunately this was only achieved in the graphics and gameplay department. There is a great lack of boss fights, replacing a large portion of the action with boring battles of the batmobile against drone tanks, many DLCs and microtransactions that are not worth their money, and overall, once you finish the story, you quickly lose interest. As a big fan of the character and the Arkham series of games, I had much higher expectations. However, something worth mentioning is that when you play as Batman in free roam, you truly feel like you have ultimate control of the player in detail, and that excited me!

    Incredible game with a very good story!! By far one of the best games I have played and extremely good graphics!! AMAZING ADDITION THE BATMOBILE!!! However, it still occasionally throws me out but not at a frequent rate.

    While the game initially released with flaws and issues, WB withdrew it for a few months and compensated the buyers. Putting that aside, it is a worthy continuation of the series with fantastic graphics, characteristic gameplay, and the familiar storyline of the DC superhero. What bothered me a little and I believe becomes tiring after a few hours of gameplay is the fact that it constantly rains in the world of Gotham... Other than that, it is a very nice game for Batman fans and not only.
