The Hombli Smart smoke detector detects smoke using a photoelectric sensor and sounds an alarm at over 85 dB. It also sends instant notifications to your smartphone via the Hombli app, even when no one is home. The app provides instructions on what to do in the event of a fire.

Silence mode can be activated through the app or by pressing the centre of the device, and monitoring automatically resumes 10 minutes later. The detector checks the battery and sensor weekly and sends a notification if a problem is detected. The magnetic mount makes installation, removal for cleaning and maintenance easy, while the device connects to your Wi-Fi network and can be added to the Hombli app.
