Description

Description

The Sony MDR-RF811RK headphones are designed for those seeking high-quality and comfortable wireless headphones for home or office use. They are ideal for use with televisions, cinema sounds, audio systems, and other audio devices. They have a range of up to 100 meters and offer clear and powerful sound, while the soft padding on the ears and head ensures comfort during long listening periods.

Over Ear

They are Over Ear with larger headphones compared to on ear, which embrace the ears.

More comfortable and with better external noise isolation, but more difficult to transport due to their larger size.

As a rule, over ear headphones, thanks to their larger speakers, can offer higher quality sound and deep bass compared to on ear headphones of similar quality.

Frequency Response

The frequency range that the headphones can reproduce. These particular headphones have the most common range, that of human hearing 20 - 20000 Hz.

Guides

The neodymium drivers are 40mm. The diameter of the headphone speakers. Generally, the larger the diameter, the louder the sound with fuller bass they can offer.

RF Connection

Thanks to RF wireless connectivity, you can move around or make your favorite snack in the kitchen, while simultaneously listening to every sound with unique detail, without interrupting your listening experience.

They do their job just fine. I use them for electric guitar and I am quite satisfied. The only downside is the long duration of a full charge (16 hours)

Another very bad pair of headphones from Sony. They distort to an extreme degree and do not provide any sound isolation from the environment. The strap that is located on top and comes into contact with the head (which is supposed to help with the fit of the headphones) is connected to the bony part of the headphones with a thin fabric cord that loosened in less than six months of use, so the headphones cannot stay on the head at all, therefore they do not fit in the ears and fall off. Poor build quality. Waste of money. I would not even take headphones from Sony as a gift again. One star and that's being generous.

    Positives:
    - They are wireless.
    - They have a very good range even through walls.
    - They have satisfactory sound.
    - They are very lightweight.
    - They have a long battery life (13 hours of autonomy).

    Negatives:
    - They produce a continuous, annoying noise.
    - They take a long time to fully charge (16 hours), so you have to interrupt the charging process each time.
    - Their sound lacks treble, and personally, it gives me the feeling that the sound is behind the ears.

(*This noise disappears when you turn up the transmitter (TV, PC, etc.) to the maximum and lower the volume wheel of the headphones, but this way, some sounds (e.g. gunshot sounds) in games or the "s" sound in songs-dialogues, etc. are "lost" (lowered)).

I would definitely recommend them for music-songs, but not for gaming and movies.
In my opinion, my €40 TDK headphones definitely have a more crystal-clear sound

The headphones are very good.....The only issue that didn't suit me is that they don't have a particularly strong sound

The only good thing is that it is wireless.... due to RF technology, it has a lot of noise. Prefer the more expensive model with Bluetooth technology

No soundproofing at all and they have a slight buzzing from the transmitter, but overall they have pretty good sound quality for their price
