Exceptional quiet, comfort, and great sound. This is the power of Bose QuietComfort® Ultra headphones: the best combination of noise cancelling, sound performance, and comfort. With the added CustomTune technology, you can adjust the music according to your preferences and the enjoyment begins with the first listen. You can choose from Quiet Mode for full noise cancellation, Aware Mode to hear environmental sound when needed, or Immersion Mode to dive into the music. An incredible listening experience also requires a level of comfort to match. I am very satisfied. I got it mainly to calm down from the annoying motorbikes with modified exhausts and it did its job. It cancels most noises when I listen to music and I'm inside a room. Even conversations. A sense of isolation is achieved. Just the noise cancel doesn't work miracles. It makes it sound more distant but sounds from traffic, voices, birds, wind still come through. It isolates air conditioning and fans better. On the streets it makes a big difference but more sounds still come through. Very comfortable, very good quality, the app works perfectly and is easy to use. You can tweak the sound, bass, etc. The microphone is excellent, I can speak and hear normally. It puts some pressure on the ears in silent mode, but it doesn't seem worrying, it goes away when you take them off. Overall, it's worth it if you have a problem with noise pollution like I do, even though it's expensive. As for sound quality, I haven't tried the equivalent Sony models for comparison, but it seems just fine to me.

I've had them for 35 days. (edit: read the edit at the end)

+ PLUS:
++ Magical ANC. I live in the center of Athens in a very noisy area and literally ...I moved! Just for this, I consider the QCs one of the best purchases of my life. I had some semi-open AKGs that let in noise and I struggled to work. Now I work more calmly as a person. Thank you Dr. Bose!
++ Very good sound, it does not disappoint for the money you pay, although this is subjective. Also, I haven't tried others (Sony XM6 etc.) to have a more rounded opinion. I went with YT reviews.
++ Very good ergonomics, case, and top build quality.
++ I mentioned MIT professor Dr. Amar Bose. The founder of the company, before he died, donated the majority share package to MIT to use the profits for research. A fact that some may not care about, but for me it counted in my purchase.

- MINUS:
-- When it goes into sleep mode and/or when you turn it on, it starts ...narrating the devices it's connected to and wastes precious seconds of your life. For example, I have it on my phone and laptop and it says "brand - model" for the phone, "brand - model" for the laptop. Almost EVERY TIME. You can't turn it off from settings.
-- Speaking of settings, the app is very poor and even worse, it sometimes has connection issues. However, they recently released a survey, which probably means they're preparing a new app. We'll see.

OVERALL:
Despite the last two issues that can get on your nerves here and there, I love them! I can't tell you if someone should get these or another pair because I haven't tried any others. I went straight with these and I'm happy with my purchase.

EDIT June 17,
After 67 days, the synthetic material covering the earpads came unglued (see photos) and they tell me it's not covered by the warranty! I'm 1.77m and 70kg, with normal ears, I use them for "office work", I've even bought a stand to put them on, they've never left the house, I take care of them like my eyes, and this happened. See the photos and judge for yourself. There's not even stitching, it's glued (which came undone). After 2 months since I shelled out 310 euros for bluetooth headphones, I have to pay extra money to fix them! Needless to say, my disappointment has hit rock bottom. I thought I was buying a premium product and it showed a defect faster than a headphone bought from a well-known cheap Chinese platform.

This review is about the colour: Black

Amazing sound quality. I had the QC35 which were very good, but these are superior and have more settings. Sometimes I get confused with the buttons, which are only 2 but perform many functions. On the QC35 the controls were much clearer, especially for turning them on and off. These don't have a switch with an on and off position, but a button that you hold down to turn them on and off. I almost always get confused and don't know if they are on or not.

Update: Many times my conversation partner tells me that they can't hear me well, that I sound like I'm talking from a well. Also, when there is even a little wind, I sound very bad, whereas this didn't happen when I used the QC35, which were excellent. That's why I changed my rating from 5 to 3 stars.

In 6 months, they broke down. Sometimes they connect, sometimes they don't connect to the PC. They don't even have a button to turn them on and off, everything is automatic and they detect when you wear them, but this function has failed and I'm sitting here doing alchemy to connect them, removing them from Windows and adding them again. Sound quality is good but not worth the money, 449 euros, what the hell got into me to spend that much? It's not worth it at all, just get a good headphone for a hundred bucks and you won't see a difference.

Very good sound, excellent noise cancelling.

The accompanying android app is mediocre but doesn't create a problem.

Personally, I would like it to have a microphone mute button for when I use it in online meetings (ms teams, zoom, etc.)

The build quality is quite good but not something impressive, lightweight and very convenient as well. On the other hand, their sound for the money they ask is okay, definitely above average, but not for very demanding music lovers. (The mids are a bit dull) For multimedia movies/games, they are definitely excellent
