I bought 3 handles of the same type, 3 different sizes, for my bathroom renovation. The other two are 100% fine. This particular one (45cm) had a defective base, which I 'fixed' to stabilize it. Relatively. I have it across from the toilet, for towels and 'pull' (&^$%#* old age!) So far (2 months) with almost daily use, it holds up.
