The Proskit SS-979B soldering station combines a soldering iron and a hot air gun, with separate controls and a digital LED display. The soldering iron temperature is adjustable from 200 °C to 480 °C, while the hot air gun’s temperature and airflow can be adjusted for different applications. It is controlled by a microprocessor with a closed-loop sensor.

The soldering iron features an alumina ceramic heating element, while the hot air gun has a metal-core heating element and a brushless motor. The handle features a heat-insulating design and a sensor, while the sleep mode and automatic cooling help extend the heating element’s lifespan.
