Permatex high-temperature gasket maker is used in heavy-duty applications and withstands intermittent temperatures from -54 °C to 343 °C. Apply the red silicone to clean, dry surfaces, around the bolt holes and along the sealing surface.
After application, assemble the parts while the silicone is still wet and initially tighten them by hand. Allow it to dry for one hour before final tightening. Allow 24 hours for full curing before filling with fluids or putting the equipment back into operation. Not recommended for use as a head gasket or in contact with gasoline.
