Permatex General Purpose Kitchen Temperature Silicone Red

• High-temperature chemical gasket designed for heavy-duty applications and extreme temperatures (intermittent -54°C to 343°C).
• For best results, surfaces must be clean and dry.
• Cut the tip and apply a continuous line of thickness 2 to 6 millimeters on one surface and around all screw holes. Assemble the parts immediately while the silicone is still wet.
• Let dry for one hour and then tighten to torque specifications.
• Allow 24 hours for full curing before filling with liquids or returning to service.
• Close tightly with the original cap.

Warning: Not recommended for use as a head gasket and in contact with gasoline.
