Description

Description

A richly illustrated book with everything parents need to know about the first year of their baby's life: preparation for the baby's arrival, feeding, diaper changing, bathing, sleeping, clothing, safety, illnesses, play, transportation (the child in the car, at restaurants), help (nannies, babysitters).

The great advantage of this book is the visual way it presents each topic related to infant care. That is, thanks to the illustrations (over 700 images) and brief descriptions, it quickly and vividly explains to parents what they need to do. This way, parents save time and feel confident that they are taking proper care of their child.

While you are shopping for all these wonderful baby products, you should be aware that there are some that may expose your baby to harmful chemicals, known as volatile organic compounds. These are gases emitted from many types of household items under normal indoor conditions, affecting the air quality in your home. These chemicals are part of the manufacturing process and can be found in mattresses, carpets, paints, clothes, and even toys. They create fumes that are dangerous to your health and your baby's health. Over time, these chemicals dissipate, but not quickly.

4-month-old babies who manipulate you (oh my) so you can hold them, oatmeal flakes in infant milk for babies under 6 months so they can sleep better and not bother you at night, hiding your baby while breastfeeding, always starting with purees and other such "nice" and above all scientifically documented things you will read in this monstrosity that is called the "ultimate" baby book. Fortunately, I didn't read it before I gave birth and got informed from reliable sources! It happened to fall into my hands and I flipped through it now that my child is 15 months old..

Easy to read, good material, and a beautiful book.
But I don't think it meets Greek standards.
It might be suitable for a first idea for anyone who has absolutely no experience with babies, to gain some initial knowledge. After that, further information is definitely needed.
Also, it mentions things that pediatricians now prohibit.

Unacceptable book, as the only thing it conveys to you is anxiety! I honestly have deep doubts about the relationship between the male author and children. I believe they are more of a problem for him than a source of happiness. He exaggerates to the utmost and panics you. Finally, he cannot portray breastfeeding as something so tragic while he himself can never breastfeed.
