The FC450IB Isolator base features all the functions of the universal 5B base and allows for the upgrade of any FC400 series detector to be integrated into a dual-direction short-circuit isolation.

It applies to any detector and ensures that no detector is lost in a system in the event of an open or short-circuited circuit.

Alternatively, the FC450IB can be used between detectors to provide short-circuit isolation in accordance with EN54.

The FC450IB can be used as a stand-alone line isolator mounted between call points and other peripheral devices.
