The Tesias wooden planter has a dodecagonal shape with closed corners and is made from pressure-treated Swedish pine. Its interior is lined with 80 g/m² Span Bond geotextile, which allows water to pass through slowly and retains the soil, with no need for drilling. Polypropylene strap handles make it easy to carry.

The wooden components have a cross-section of 36 × 46 mm and are joined with 80 × 3 mm stainless steel nails and 15 mm metal plates on all sides. The planter has UB protection against sun damage and can be treated with wood preservative for a longer lifespan.
