RESCUE SAM is an automatic external defibrillator that speaks English. It is designed for the rescue of patients with the help of simple and direct voice instructions and indications. It is lightweight and battery-operated for easy transport.

The goal of the RESCUE SAM defibrillator is to address ventricular fibrillation (VF) and rapid ventricular tachycardia (VT), which are deadly arrhythmias and the most common causes of Sudden Cardiac Arrest.

The treatment consists of delivering an electric shock through the myocardium, known as defibrillation, which helps restore normal sinus rhythm.
