Monto 17-10701 impregnating varnish is a clear, two-component polyurethane varnish with a glossy finish. It can be applied to properly prepared interior and exterior surfaces made of metal, iron, galvanized metal, stone, wood or marble. It helps protect against graffiti and makes graffiti easier to remove.
The varnish has UV filters, is waterproof and resists abrasion, impact and chemicals. It does not yellow, crack or blister. The mixing ratio is 4 parts base to 1 part hardener, and the mixture has a pot life of 6 hours. It is touch-dry in 30–60 minutes at 20 °C and can be recoated after 12–24 hours.
