The Covil: The Dark Overlords – The Outposts expansion adds 8 outpost tokens to Covil. Outposts let you deploy troops directly from the castle or from any of your own outposts, adding a new strategic element to the game.

To build an outpost, you must control an area and pay the corresponding cost in gold coins. At the end of the game, each outpost awards additional victory points. During the “Night” phase, an area with one of your outposts is considered under your control, provided there are no enemy forces there.
