Aqua plant from tissue culture in a closed cup.
The Rotala 'H'ra' has rather narrow leaves and prominent or creeping growth. It is likely a variant of Rotala rotundifolia and bears a strong resemblance to the green Rotala sp.
High light levels, good fertilization, and the addition of CO2 will induce almost exclusively creeping growth and a warm, rich orange color. This allows for the creation of a dense, orange shrub in the midground or even an unusual, orange carpet in the foreground.
