The Trust Care plaster bandage is made of high-density gauze and plaster, and wound around a perforated plastic core for easy application. It is used according to standard plaster bandage application practices to immobilize body parts and can be shaped around difficult areas. It is activated by immersing it in water at 23–27 °C for approximately 2–3 seconds.
Setting is complete within 2–3 minutes for 2 m bandages and 2–3.5 minutes for 2.7 m bandages. It can withstand short-term loading after approximately 20 minutes.
