Smarty Saver Defibrillator is a fully automatic device that speaks Greek - it is the basic model of the Smarty Saver Series from the Italian company AMI ITALIA. It is ideal for the fast and simple treatment of sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) with simultaneous provision of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). The Smarty defibrillator series features the latest technology from AMI Italia.
It allows the delivery of one or more defibrillation shocks to adults or children affected by ventricular fibrillation or ventricular tachycardia, through a thoracic impedance-compensated, biphasic truncated exponential (BTE) waveform.
The fully automatic model goes through 3 steps before defibrillation: 1. Checking the patient's ECG 2. If a pulse is detected, the user is instructed to move away from the patient 3. Within 5 seconds, the shock is automatically delivered
