The Isomat ISO.1015.BT.ALU waterproofing coating is a reflective aluminium paint for the final protection of bituminous membranes, brush-applied bituminous coatings and other surfaces. It offers high reflectivity, low water permeability and adhesion to concrete, metal, glass, wood, stone and polyurethane substrates. When applied to exposed bituminous coatings, it protects them from UV radiation, helps extend their service life and reduces substrate temperature.
Porous surfaces such as concrete or wood must first be primed with ISOLAC-BT bituminous varnish. Before use, stir thoroughly until the product is homogeneous, and keep stirring continuously during application. Apply with a roller, brush or spray gun in at least two coats, allowing the previous coat to dry completely; apply the second coat at right angles to the first. Take care when applying to bituminous substrates, as the solvents may damage the underlying bitumen. Contains flammable organic solvents; do not apply in enclosed spaces without adequate ventilation.
