McToxi Gas Detector

The McToxi gas detector is designed to warn about leaks of methane (CH4), propane (C3H8), and butane (C4H10). These gases are flammable when mixed with air, creating an explosion risk.

Features:

• Suitable for use in a home, caravan, or boat.
• Features LED indicators for status:
  • Green LED: Ready operation.
  • Orange LED: Error indication.
  • Red LED: Alarm with sound signal.
• Power supply: 230V from mains (does not operate during power outage).
• Test: At least once a month by flashing red and orange LEDs.
• Sensitive to other gases, e.g., spray or smoke from the kitchen.
• 85 dB audible alarm.
• Dimensions: 100 x 76 x 43mm.

It is recommended to install it 30 centimeters below the ceiling for methane and 30 centimeters above the floor for propane and butane.

In case of an alarm, it is important to check and turn off all devices, avoid any sparks or flames, and ventilate the area immediately.
