Description & Specifications

Geo Bavicchi organic seeds are fenugreek seeds, suitable for growing sprouts and shoots. They germinate quickly, and the shoots have a strong, spicy flavour with notes of oriental spices. Fenugreek is one of the ingredients in curry.

To grow them, soak 2 tablespoons of seeds in water overnight. Then place them in a jar covered with muslin over the opening, or in a tray on a moist surface such as kitchen paper or a cloth. Rinse and drain them twice a day, or spray them 2–3 times a day, keeping them moist. Grow them at room temperature, preferably in a dark place. Let the shoots reach 3–4 cm, then expose them to daylight to turn green. Rinse the sprouts before eating and store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for a few days.
