The TPS51219 is a small-sized synchronous step-down controller with adaptive on-time control. It provides control mode options (D-CAPTv or D-CAP2Tm) to meet a wide range of system requirements. It is designed for stringent DC regulation requirements, such as the VCCIO application for Intel laptops.
The performance and flexibility of the TPS51219 make it suitable for low-output voltage, high current PC power supplies, and similar point-of-load (POL) supplies. The differential voltage feedback and voltage compensation function combine to provide high accuracy power supply to load devices.
A small package, fixed voltage options, and a minimal number of external components save cost and space, while an exclusive EN pin and pre-set frequency options minimize design effort.
