Integrated laptop chip (Code 1-CHIP0157). The RT8207L/M provides full power supply for DDRII/DDRIII/Low-Power DDRIII/DDRIV memories. It integrates a synchronous PWM buck controller with a 1.5A tracking regulator and a smooth reference current. The PWM controller offers high efficiency, excellent load transient response, and high DC output accuracy to reduce high battery voltages to low voltages for chipsets and RAM in laptops. The fixed on-time PWM control easily manages wide input/output ratios and offers a fast 100ns response to load changes while maintaining a nearly constant switching frequency.
