The Ra-02 LoRa board is manufactured by Ai-Thinker, the maker of the ESP32S board. It uses the SX1278 IC and operates at a frequency of 433MHz. It is a high-quality board with very small dimensions, just 17 x 16 mm, with all the pins of the SX1278 available.
The SX1287 transceivers feature the long-range LoRa™ modem, which provides communication over very long distances with high tolerance to interference while minimizing power consumption. Using Semtech's LoRa™ modulation technique, the SX1287 can achieve sensitivity of over -148dBm with low-cost crystals and materials. The high sensitivity combined with the integrated power amplifier of +20 dBm offers top-tier connection budgets, making it ideal for any application requiring range or resilience. LoRa™ also provides significant advantages over traditional modulation techniques, solving traditional compromise issues between range, interference resilience, and power consumption.
