I have had it connected to my MacBook Air for about 2 years. I researched a lot before the purchase; it is one of the few with high data transfer speed (10 Gbps) on the ports (unfortunately, the same does not apply to the card slots). It has continuous and multiple use (monitor, charging, hard drive, etc.). It never disconnects anything. Under heavy use (copying many files between hard drives), it heats up a little.

For its job, it is just right, it has compartments for everything and it lacks nothing, and it easily fits in the laptop bag
