In The Invincible for Xbox Series X, the player takes on the role of a scientist on a space mission who wakes up on the inhospitable planet Regis III. Their goal is to find the missing crew of their spaceship, gradually uncovering the planet’s secrets and facing a rescue mission shaped by critical choices.

The story unfolds non-linearly and is shaped by the player’s relationships, choices, and powers of persuasion. The retrofuturistic steampunk setting evokes the era of the space race, while analog technology, autonomous drones, and robots influence the course of the mission. The narrative is inspired by Stanislaw Lem’s science fiction novel of the same name.
