Anti-slip chains are placed on the driving wheels of the car, either in the front or the back, enhancing traction on the road when it is covered with snow and ice. Their installation is relatively easy, but it is necessary to have tried them beforehand so that we are familiar with their installation.
An important criterion in choosing snow chains is the compatible size of our tire and the diameter (thickness) of the chain we will choose. Usually, chains with a thickness of 12mm and above offer more effective traction and better penetration in the snow compared to "thinner" diameter chains. Their installation is not recommended for lowered passenger vehicles or for vehicles with low-profile tires.
