The Aku Rock DFS low-cut hiking shoes are designed for technical approaches, hiking on challenging mountain terrain, via ferrata and light climbing, even in wet conditions. The upper combines 1.6 mm suede leather, abrasion-resistant microfibre and AIR8000® fabric for breathability, while the rubber rand protects the shoe when in contact with rocks.
The GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort membrane provides waterproof protection and breathability. The Vibram® Approcciosa outsole with Megagrip is designed for climbing, while the dual-density EVA and PU midsole combines cushioning with precision. The AKU Elica Natural Stride system supports a natural, efficient stride, while the Dual Fit System offers two lacing options: classic for hiking and quick-lacing.
