The SC2070 is a high-resolution near/midfield monitor speaker that combines the outstanding technologies of the SC3070 and the award-winning SC4070 into a compact 2-way speaker.
The most important feature of the SC2070 is the newly developed Air Motion Transformer RS7, which is the largest AMT used in a 2-way speaker. The diaphragm area is 1.5 times larger compared to the tweeter used in the SC207.
The RS7 has been specially developed for the SC2070 to achieve a crossover frequency at 1800Hz, which is remarkably low for a 2-way speaker. High and upper mid frequencies are reproduced with unparalleled accuracy and resolution, revealing even the smallest nuances. The midrange frequency imaging is ensured at levels typically found in 3-way systems.
This brand-new AMT tweeter is paired with a 6.5-inch SilverCone woofer.
