With one wind-up, it can travel more than 2 m on a flat surface. The winding crank, start-and-stop switch, gears and flywheel transmit and smooth the motion to the wheels.

The 172 wooden pieces are laser-cut and assemble without glue or special tools. Assembly takes approximately 3 hours, and the model has an easy difficulty level. The moving parts can be lightly sanded and waxed for smooth movement, while the wooden surface can be stained or painted. Wax and sandpaper are included; paints are not included.
