The U.S.A.TECH PLUS HM solid activated carbon filters are versatile activated carbon filters designed to provide protection against a range of contaminants in tap water, with an emphasis on effective removal of lead and cysts smaller than 0.5 microns. Specifically, they offer:

  • Removal of sediments (sand, mud, rust, and suspended solids) smaller than 0.5 μm.
  • Removal of chlorine, organic pollutants, pesticides, and pathogenic chemicals.
  • Improvement of the odor and taste of water.
  • Removal of cysts (Cryptosporidium, Giardia, Entamoeba, and Toxoplasma) with a permeability smaller than 0.5 micron.
  • Reduction of lead concentration.
  • Reduction of heavy metals.
  • Does not reduce water pressure.
  • Reduction of copper concentration and asbestos fibers.
  • Does not release carbon dust.
  • Certified by NSF.

Instructions for Use:
