The König K-Summit XXL K89 snow chains are fitted and removed exclusively from the outside of the wheel and attach to one of its original nuts or bolts. The integrated ratchet tightens the chain, which moves into position automatically while driving. The K-Lock wrench features a torque indicator that shows when the correct torque has been reached.

The tread chain combines special plastic plates, hardened metal studs and a steel chain. The welded traction plates improve grip on snowy and icy surfaces. The Wheel-Shield Level 0 design ensures there are no contact points between the chain and the alloy wheel, and the chains are compatible with original rims.
