Description

FLIP UP MOTORCYCLE HELMET LS2 FF908 STROBE II GLOSS BLACK

A modular helmet with a 90º rotating chin guard.

Comfortable all-day fit thanks to the 3D laser-cut padding.

Extremely safe with the HPTT shell.

Ideal for passengers and tourists.

Anti-scratch visor with slots for the anti-fog system, Pinlock Max Vision, and retractable sun visor.

Innovative 90-Degree Flip-Up Chin Bar System and Dual P/J Certification

The LS2 FF908 Strobe II redefines the category of modular helmets by offering an extremely functional 90º rotating flip-up chin bar system. The chin-bar locker keeps the protector stable in the open position, providing top dual homologation ECE 22.06 & P/J. This means the helmet has been officially tested and approved for use both as a closed (Full Face) and as an open (Jet) helmet, allowing you to enjoy the freedom of an open-face helmet at low city speeds, as well as the ultimate safety of a full-face helmet on the highway.

High-Tech KPA Shell and Advanced Safety Systems

The safety of the rider is at the heart of the design of the LS2 FF908 Strobe II. The outer shell is made from the exclusive KPA (Kinetic Polymer Alloy) material, a next-generation polymer blend that offers excellent penetration resistance, optimal energy absorption, and low weight, with a total mass of 1700 (±50 g). For ultimate head protection, the helmet incorporates an internal Multi-Density EPS (multi-layered polystyrene), reinforced chin strap, as well as an advanced micrometric buckle for quick, precise, and secure fastening.

Advanced Twin Visor System and Anti-Scratch Protection

Ride with absolute visibility under any lighting conditions thanks to the integrated Twin Visor System. The external, clear visor of the LS2 FF908 Strobe II features scratch-resistant treatment, top-level UV radiation resistance, and comes fully prepared to accommodate the premium anti-fog system Pinlock® 70 MaxVision™. Additionally, the helmet includes a practical, internal drop-down sun visor that protects your eyes from intense sunlight, while the Quick Release System allows you to change the visor in seconds without tools.

Integrated Channelled EPS Ventilation System for Maximum Coolness

The rider's thermal comfort is guaranteed even on the hottest summer days or during long journeys. The LS2 FF908 Strobe II features an advanced, dynamic ventilation system that includes large air vents on the chin and top of the helmet, as well as a strategically placed air exhaust port at the rear. Fresh air circulates evenly inside thanks to Channelled EPS technology, while the integrated breath deflector directs breath away from the visor to prevent fogging.

Premium Laser-Cut Foam Inner Lining for All-Day Comfort

Enjoy a top-tier, velvety feel on every ride with the Strobe II’s inner lining. It is designed with Laser-Cut Foam technology, offering precision 3D cutting that perfectly adapts to the curves of your face without causing uncomfortable pressure. All fabrics are fully breathable and hypoallergenic, preventing the build-up of odors and sweat. For optimal hygiene, the entire lining, along with the innovative elastic-strap top liner, is fully removable and washable, keeping your helmet like new for years.

Ultimate Adaptability, Ready for LS2 INTERCOM Integration

The LS2 FF908 Strobe II is a highly customizable helmet that meets the needs of the modern digital era. It is fully ready for the installation of the LS2 INTERCOM (such as the LS2 Intercom Spectrum), featuring specially designed internal recesses for the speakers and wiring, without affecting ergonomics. To ensure the ideal ratio of external volume to internal comfort, the helmet is produced in 3 different outer shell sizes, covering a wide range of sizes from XS to 3XL, and is available in impressive gloss and matt graphics (Black, Titanium, White, Navy Blue, Monza, etc.).

I bought 2 helmets, a white one for me and the one next to it (modular as stated in the helmet's title). Good helmet, good visibility, and the tint for me is like purple. (I can't understand who thought of it or if they modify them in stores so you end up buying the logical color that helps you, like green). Listen now, those of you with an old moto and a 2006 model case like me, as I also reviewed the Givi 37lt Blade case, the helmet won't fit, especially if you choose the modular (let's say multicolored). It's slightly wider and taller and didn't fit in my case; it hit the internal lock. I was going to pick up my child and had the multicolored one inside, and in a pothole, it hit the lock and opened the case, so be careful. If you're going for a 129 to 149 helmet, try it with your case. I ended up spending another 150. Other than that, the helmet is worth it.

Lightweight, sits well on the head, poor quality tinted visor resulting in not seeing anything in direct sunlight, good ventilation although tested so far only in cold (I close the air vents because my head gets cold)

This review is about the colour: Black

I got it for my wife, for rides with the scooter. Flip-up, because she has some claustrophobia issues, so when we stop she opens it if needed... Very good fit, lightweight and convenient. Of course, helmets are judged by the outcome, which I don't want to find out...
