The Icy Box IB-2913MCL-C31 enclosure functions as a docking station for one 2.5″ or 3.5″ SATA drive and two M.2 drives, with support for M.2 SATA and NVMe. It connects to a computer via USB 3.2 Gen 2x1 Type-C or Type-A and supports data transfer speeds of up to 10 Gbit/s. It also allows you to clone drives without a computer, with the direction selected using a sliding switch.

The source M.2 slot accepts M.2 SATA and NVMe drives, while the target M.2 slot accepts only M.2 NVMe drives. Cloning is supported from a 2.5″ or 3.5″ SATA drive to M.2 NVMe, from M.2 SATA to M.2 NVMe, and from M.2 NVMe to M.2 NVMe. Drives can be installed and removed without tools, and Plug & Play operation requires no additional drivers. The enclosure features passive cooling, an On/Off switch, and indicator lights for power, drive activity, and cloning progress.
