Hartmann Omnistrip wound closure strips are sterile strips made of non-woven polyamide, in skin color, covered with hypoallergenic polyacrylic adhesive.

Indications: Omnistrip wound closure strips are indicated for primary atraumatic closure of small wounds and surgical incisions (primary intention treatment).

In combination with sutures or staples, the strips bring the wound edges closer and reduce tension or stabilize scar formation once the sutures or staples are removed.

Application: Remove the middle section of the protective paper from the wound closure strips. Hold the edges of the strips using the outer protective papers and place the strips on the wound at a right angle to the incision, then press them. Alternatively, individual application of the strips is also possible. Carefully press the wound closure strips and then remove the outer protective papers one by one. Crosswise application is recommended for joints or other body parts where the edges of the incision are subject to stretching.
