The Hysen HY010RF is a smart thermostat with Wi-Fi and an LCD remote temperature control, designed for ultimate comfort and energy savings. With built-in Wi-Fi, it allows remote control via an app on your smartphone, while the easy-to-read LCD screen provides clear indications and easy adjustments. Ideal for home use, it offers precise temperature control and improves the energy efficiency of your space.

General Information:

  • Consists of 2 pieces "Transmitter" and "Receiver". The transmitter can be placed in the area where we want to control the temperature either on the wall or on a piece of furniture. The receiver is placed either near the boiler we want to control or at the waiting point of the wires that are for the thermostat.
  • The thermostat (Transmitter) connects via miniUSB to a 5V USB power supply (power supply not included), it can also operate with 4 alkaline batteries.
  • WARNING: When using a power supply, the batteries must be removed.

With five operating modes, the system can operate according to the desired temperature you have set. The scheduling function allows programmable operation and unlimited 5 + 1 + 1 day programs. The smart room thermostat gives ON/OFF commands to the heating system to achieve the desired temperature.

Control Options:

  • Manual or preset program.

  • I constantly buy technology products and I am a very familiar - experienced user, but this device is unreliable, it consumed a lot of heating fuel for no reason. While the app is very good, the device does not manage it properly; in a short period, it malfunctioned and changed its settings twice on its own, the first time from hot to cold, and the second time it changed the temperature calibration, resulting both times in wasting quite expensive fuel for no reason. Maybe the problem does not exist only in the specific device I have in my hands, maybe it is due to problematic circuit design, perhaps in the entire batch? I no longer trust it and I will not risk wasting fuel for a third time without cause, I have already paid an electrician a second time to disconnect the device and reconnect the old thermostat..!!! So BE CAREFUL with this cheap product that unfortunately I paid 88 euros for..

Purchased at 58 euros. For some reason, after a while, the price went up to 90 and only in one store. I guess low stock.

Unfortunately, in my case, it turned out to be defective. I couldn't put it in pairing mode to connect to WiFi. I tried all key combinations, even from other thermostats of the same company, nothing. I went into all the advanced menus. Nothing. The instructions were partly wrong (half the menus described were from another device) and the translation was terrible. Classic Chinese product. After 8 business days, I got a refund from the service. In summary, on the positive side, the base (transmitter) takes USB-C and you won't have to struggle with batteries. It does not include a USB cable or adapter. It did its job (relatively) correctly as a thermostat and solved the problem I had with the previous one (wrong location in the room). The receiver will need power from a socket or something similar. It may look a bit ugly. They could have integrated 2 18650 batteries into the receiver and made it rechargeable. Most homes have the classic 2 wires for the boiler operation. Check your situation and how it will be connected if you plan to buy it.

Unfortunately, apart from the obvious that it arrived defective, it has other problems. The screen is mediocre to unacceptable. For me, the LCD looked terrible from some angles, and I also noticed it wasn't sitting 100% straight. In one corner, there was something like a speck of dust. For 60 euros, it could have been much better. The plastic protecting it had 2 huge scratches under the film. I wonder if they sent me a return from another customer. The buttons are not clicky but touch. To raise the temperature by 3 "clicks" for example was a hassle. Bad menu on the device. I would never bother, maybe with the app it's manageable. If you want to use it with batteries, with fully charged new rechargeables, it shows a low voltage icon. Kind of logical because these batteries have a lower voltage by design, but they should have anticipated that. Isn't it logical that I want to use rechargeables? I don't know how it affects operation or how long they would last, I only kept it for a day and mainly used it with USB. As a "thermometer" I was surprised that it shows the temperature in 0.5 degree steps! That is, it can't show 22.3 degrees, only 22 or 22.5. Completely unacceptable even for a 2 euro thermometer. As a thermostat, it also adjusts in 0.5 steps. Not ideal but acceptable. There are advanced menus that allow you to make settings for temperature deviation, etc. I attach the photos I sent to the service, these are the only ones I have.
