Jameson Single Pot Still embodies the traditional style of Irish whiskey making from which it takes its name. The malted and unmalted barley is triple distilled for a rich, undeniably silky texture with a distinctive spicy flavor. This Five Oak Cask Release matures in a combination of three different types of virgin oak (Irish, European, and American), in addition to ex-bourbon and ex-sherry barrels. The final result is a whiskey that is complex and smooth. On the nose, it offers spices of cinnamon and nutmeg intertwined with rich toasted oak, sweet honeycomb, and salted caramel. On the palate, rich dark chocolate, spicy toffee, and ground cinnamon with notes of freshly grated ginger and hints of orange peel, and the finish leaves us with spices and oak.
