The AE308 is a brand new subwoofer from Acoustic Energy.

Designed to perfectly complement and integrate with the other models in the 300 series, the AE308 offers exceptional performance in both Hi-Fi and AV applications. It features a new 500 Watt (RMS) amplifier combined with a 12” driver made of doped and reinforced paper, and also includes DSP functions for tailoring performance to desired needs.

  • In Music mode, the AE308 delivers in a balanced and precise manner, naturally and smoothly extending the low frequencies of the main speakers down to 26Hz (+/-6dB).
  • In Movie mode, it offers additional "thump" to support explosive film recordings in AV systems.
  • Finally, the Impact mode trades immediate extension for maximum volume and serious impact, closer to club setups for when you want to party!

The AE308 is available in attractive real American walnut, black piano or white lacquer to match the other models in the 300 series and features sturdy spikes that penetrate the carpet, with convenient rubber caps for use on hard surfaces.
