The electric guitar Rga42fm Tgf by Ibanez, Its pickups are passive, which consist only of the coil that "translates" the movement of the strings into an electric signal. This type of pickups is widely used and the most common compared to others.

Finally, the bridge of Ibanez Rga42fm Tgf is fixed. The bridge, or saddle, is the part where the strings start from the body of the instrument and go towards the tuning keys. The strings simply pass through the metallic frame that resembles a bridge, which is screwed onto the body. Changing strings is simple and quick, and does not require any special attention.

Review this product
  • In this price range, this specific series from Ibanez simply has no competition. Super lightweight, with a very comfortable body. The pickups are quite satisfactory for metal, of course having had the Cort EVL Z2 for 15 years, I dare say that the pickups of the Cort are fuller (this specific series had passive EMG in the Z4 model, mine has the in-house ones from Cort). Perhaps the only upgrade that will be needed is the bridge pickup.

    • The frets do not creak
    • Magnet performance
    • Quality of electronic parts
    • Fretboard feel
    • Rich sound
    • Weight
    • Value for money
