The BHT-009GBLW digital room thermostat connects to a smartphone via Wi-Fi and the Smart Life or Tuya apps, allowing you to control the temperature remotely. It is compatible with oil boilers and designed for use in residential, commercial and industrial spaces.
It is controlled using a rotary knob and touch buttons, while the display shows the temperature readings. It is designed for recessed installation.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
Users generally rate the thermostat positively, mainly praising its Wi‑Fi connectivity and ease of use, as well as its good performance with boilers. They also mention sensitive temperature readings, scheduling, and the ability to control it through an app. However, it is primarily designed for recessed installation, has no separate command for the boiler, and some users report errors or hard-to-read displays.
Not completely satisfied. The product often displays an error on the screen without any explanation, and it needs to be restarted to recover.
It is perfect!
Great sensitivity in temperature measurement.
Works perfectly with the app on the phone, I have had no issues with remote operation for a year now.
It has the capability for weekly scheduling.
It is worth the money.
Recent purchase, quite good. It is normally for built-in installation, but there is also the possibility of wall mounting. It has many features and functions that I haven't used yet. Control also with WiFi. I got it for a gas - propane boiler. The only drawback is that it doesn't have a separate command for the boiler. Update when I will use all its features.
It is very good, but the person who will buy it should know that it is a flush-mounted box like the sockets. I bought an external box for it. It has not presented any problems.
very good!!! connected with a diesel burner. be careful the connection to the router must be via wifi. press and hold the connection button and the indicator blinks quickly (bluetooth connection). press and hold it a little longer and it blinks slowly (wifi connection)
Works perfectly (with an oil boiler).
Easy connection with WiFi and smart life.
The only drawback is that the indicators are faint. Especially for the time, you have to go close to see it..
Εύκολη σύνδεση με WiFi και smart life.
Very beautiful, flush installation, suitable for oil boiler. It has wifi connection, does not have a switch for the boiler.
As for the quality and reliability of this particular thermostat, it is a bit early for me to comment, since I have only had it for 3 days (which is why I am not giving it 5 stars). However, in terms of appearance, it is very good. The knob, which is a rotary type, is also very practical. The screen is very readable and the information displayed is clear. The reason I am writing this review so early is mainly to help someone who might be interested but is confused about the features and capabilities of the thermostat. The model I bought is the BHT-009GBLW for oil burner. The instructions do not clearly state that it is suitable for an oil burner, as they mention it is compatible with "electric heating systems." It is also programmable, with a 5+1+1 option (weekdays-Saturday-Sunday) and 6 daily periods. It is compatible with the Smart Life app. Finally, it is flush-mounted and you will need an external box for its installation if there is no flush-mounted box at the spot where you want to place it. The wiring is simple. You connect phase (L), neutral (N), and the command cable (L1). I will return with new comments if any problems arise in the future.
I am returning with a new review, after almost 2 years of use, with a negative impression. After a year and a half of operation, its screen, even when off, started showing faint indications of all its functions. After two years of use, I noticed a small deviation in its temperature reading. Today, this deviation reached 3 degrees (higher), making it non-functional, since for it to work you have to set it 3 degrees higher than desired. So, we are going for a new one!!!
