For fans of Alex Rider, Young Bond, and Cherub, this thrilling action-adventure book is the first children's book by astronaut Tim Peake and bestselling author Steve Cole. It is based on scientific and technological innovations of the space age.

When Danny is kidnapped by Adi - who can run through bricks and make cars drive on water - he realizes that all of humanity is in danger. Adi, part of a super-evolved collective consciousness, the Swarm, seeks to protect Earth from the environmental destruction caused by humanity.

Adi - Digital Intelligence in the form of a girl - can change the laws of physics and control digital data, but as a digital being she desires to understand the human experience. This is where Danny comes in a key role.

But what exactly is the "help" that the mysterious Swarm offers? Can Danny and his friend Jamila help Adi stop the Agents of the Swarm and give humanity a second chance?

With high action, intrigue, and twists, Swarm Rising has it all. I loved it.
