It really does smell like you're at a port! However, my cat (5 months old) is crazy about it. He wants to eat all day! His fur is perfect, very soft. I haven't noticed anything about his mood. Maybe it could be a bit more affordable but ok.

From the ingredients and their percentage content, it appears to be a safe, quality food. I gave it to my cat when it was young and it showed no interest. 8 months later, it clearly showed its preference. In general, my cat has been growing up with Acana since it was a kitten and has wonderful shiny fur, a good mood, and energy. They are the best foods.

It smells like a port in the middle of summer. But the little one goes crazy!!!!! It's the first food that he eats no matter how much I put in his bowl. The others he would leave, and I always had a full bowl and he would eat whenever he was hungry. With this one, he leaves nothing.

My cat has gone crazy as soon as she tried it.. it smells very strongly of fish (in a good way) and she eats it eagerly! I recommend it! One of the best we have tried!

We have tried 2-3 good quality foods and different flavors. We have been using this specific one for the past 2 years. Especially for cats like mine who are neutered and live only indoors and on the balcony - without being very active, I think it is an ideal food as it is largely "clean" without many fats that would make her bloated. This particular food seems excellent from what I read, it has no signs of intolerance, her litter box is normal - without odors, etc. As for the claim that it makes her coat shinier, to be honest, I haven't noticed anything. The price is a bit high, but for a reputable quality food, you don't expect it to be the same price as friskies. I would definitely recommend it.

It smells so strongly of fish that I want to eat it myself, the cat does eat it but sometimes prefers to eat the dog's kibble and leaves this food in the plate. Its downsides, like with the other foods it has eaten so far, are that they are quite big and tight

No words are needed for the quality of Acana. I emphasize that you should gradually incorporate it into your cat's diet (slowly adding a little to its old food). I use the Wild Prairie from the same company, and when I used this specific one without gradual incorporation, my cat vomited.
