A novel of Zothar Athrabis

Zothar is an Ossiarch Bonereaper who rules a city in Shyish. He proposed a deal with Nagash to keep the soul of his dead son, choosing a new host from the winner of the Games – a festival held once every decade. When Zothar breaks tradition and resurrects Lycus, the current champion, as his own son, his actions provoke a bloody uprising among the citizens.
