The best magnesium supplement. I had a serious problem with cramps mainly in the abdominal area and sides due to dehydration, to the point where I was crying, and I changed many supplements that just reduced them. This particular supplement, as funny as it may sound, was recommended to me by ChatGPT and it saved me.

First time buying magnesium after my coach's suggestion. I chose these specific ones after reading the many positive reviews here on Skroutz. I don't know if it's a placebo effect, but I take two tablets an hour before bedtime on training days and one tablet on the other days, and I feel more rested the next morning. I will continue to take them until the first package is finished and will report back. Also, I should mention that I haven't experienced any bloating or heartburn as some people mention. I take them with plenty of water, but I also drink a lot during the day because of creatine.

It is excellent as a product but very expensive and let me explain. The 2 tablets cover 48% of the daily intake. It says 2 tablets 1-2 times a day so you can take 4 to get close to 100%. The thing is, with 4, it runs out in a month and a half. Unless you eat legumes, green vegetables, nuts, dark chocolate, which I do not eat.

I got it as a daily magnesium intake supplement—due to intense athletic activity—(without having any issues with sleep, relaxation, cramps, etc.), first trial: 2 tablets, 2 hours after dinner, with half a banana as it gave me some sourness right after taking it. Unfortunately, for me, it caused terrible insomnia and intense discomfort, I managed to sleep after 6-7 hours and the sleep was very poor. I have no experience with supplements, I will try to reduce the dose to half a tablet and gradually increase the intake and will update. On the positive side, the tablets are easy to swallow and there is 3rd party lab testing for the actual magnesium bisglycinate content.

As for improvement in sleep, I didn't notice any significant difference. They might work for some people who have significantly low magnesium levels. For me, they didn't work!

People with a sensitive CNS may experience headaches or initial stimulation from the salt (it is not from the magnesium). Do not be alarmed and do not stop using it (it is worth it). Just significantly reduce the dosage until your body gets used to it. Start with half a capsule and increase the dose as you go.

Suitable form of magnesium to fill your stores. Nice deep sleep due to the glycine (give it 1.5 hours to take effect), muscle relaxation, helps a lot with cramps from statin use.

Because I saw some people giving a bad rating without knowing what magnesium does, it has saved me, it has stopped my headaches and saved my sleep. If you take it without food it might bother you and if you take too much it might cause mild diarrhea. Now, for sensitive stomachs, eat a bite of something with it or see which magnesium suits you, but magnesium is top, take magnesium people, don't pay attention to bad ratings from people who just didn't like it or don't know how it works

The problem with this magnesium is that it also contains B6 in hydrochloride form (Pyridoxine HCL) and after taking 2-3 pills, my stomach started hurting and I experienced acidity and heartburn, so I stopped taking it. Of course, I have a stomach issue—I have gastroesophageal reflux and chronic gastritis—so if you have stomach problems, stay away. I went back to citrate magnesium, which does not bother me.

    Guys, it gives me diarrhea.
I've looked into magnesium quite a bit because of my involvement with enduro and I knew that there could be an issue with certain types of magnesium.
I ended up with the same company's magnesium citrate powder, which is also absorbed by the body and I have no problem with it.
I put a teaspoon together with electrolytes in my pouch, which gives 375mg of magnesium citrate, and I'm okay.
My wife, who also took it, has the same problem: stomach disturbances.
But be careful, because for others the opposite happens.
Anyway, if you want magnesium, you should get citrate or glycinate. These two are absorbed by the body, whereas the magnesium in effervescent electrolyte tablets is carbonate, of which the body only absorbs 10%.
So be careful. If it says 375mg, you will only get 10% from the magnesium carbonate.

The best form of Magnesium for combination with Vitamin D3.

High doses of riboflavin (Vitamin B2), specifically 400 milligrams (mg) per day, control migraines in 80% of cases.

Adding magnesium to the riboflavin treatment increases migraine control to nearly 100% of cases.

    Magnesium Glycinate:
Advantage: Preferred/Used form. The glycine component may also reduce stress.

    Magnesium Threonate:
Advantage: Used form/Choice. It may have more effects on the central nervous system.

    Magnesium Oxide:
Disadvantage: To be avoided. It is poorly absorbed and causes diarrhea.

    Magnesium Citrate:
Disadvantage: To be avoided. The citrate component may increase aluminum absorption.

Perfect magnesium, in a form that doesn't upset the digestive system and with enough content, so you only need one pill a day. Based on this, its price is totally VFM.

Decompression from work stress in the evening. Reduction of headaches and it also sends you off to sleep just fine.

One tablet is enough for relaxation and indeed a very good sleep!!
I take it in combination with zinc..
    * The combination of zinc and magnesium, often found in supplements like ZMA, can support healthy testosterone production, especially in athletes. This is because zinc helps maintain normal testosterone levels, while magnesium is important for muscle function and recovery. The combination is also known for its contribution to athletic performance, quality sleep, and immune system function. *

The supplement is fine, but the title is misleading; the tablet does not contain 1000mg. It has 100mg of usable magnesium. This means each tablet has 1000mg of magnesium biglycinate, but of that, 100mg converts to natural magnesium in our body, so you need 4 tablets for the daily recommended amount. That's why I only give 3 stars.

I compare them to the now foods magnesium citrate 200mg. I didn't see anywhere here mentioning how many mg one pill has, so I took it a bit blindly plus the fact that they say glycinate is better for sleep and relaxation which is what I want. The citrate I had helped me quite a bit with one pill before bed, which provided 200mg. Here the glycinate provides 100mg per pill, but if I need to take two, then it will be like having 90 inside at double the price of the other. Also, while the dosage for citrate is 1-2 pills, here it is 1-4. The good thing is that they are smaller in size. I will return with the sleep results.

Since I wasted 38 euros, I would like to inform
.. anyone who has a stomach problem not to buy it.
Apart from being wasted money, you will also suffer!

This particular magnesium is excellent. Already within 10 days of use, I noticed significant relief, as the myoclonus before sleep was noticeably reduced and my sleep became calmer.

The best for magnesium intake - noticeable difference

  • First time buying magnesium after my coach's suggestion.

  • It is excellent as a product but very expensive and let me explain.

  • I got it as a daily magnesium intake supplement—due to intense athletic activity—(without having any issues with sleep, relaxation, cramps, etc.), first trial: 2 tablets, 2 hours after dinner, with half a banana as it gave me some sourness right after taking it.

  • It doesn't "work" for me, it doesn't relax me in sleep as much as other similar supplements. It might be the type of magnesium.

  • Personally, I immediately noticed a difference in muscle pain. I have started taking 1 pill at night, not 2. It hasn't bothered me at all and I have a sensitive stomach.
