IT IS NOT AN EXPANSION, BUT A STANDALONE GAME, however it contains improvements and extras compared to the regular one

One of the best games with card drafting and worker placement mechanics on the market, perhaps the best for many. Definitely the best for me and my group. With the expansion "Rise of Ix," it adds even greater depth to the game without complicating the rules.

It hasn't been tested yet with 6 people, but with 3 or 4 it's ideal. With 2 players, it's good as well but lacks the "wow" factor as it includes a 3rd player "bot" with automations. The solo mode, while feasible, is certainly not anything special, other than helping you learn the game's mechanics and some strategies.

Important! The game is NOT an expansion of Dune: Imperium released in 2020, but is a standalone board game. It is an improved version of the original with several corrections alongside. It can also be combined with the original from 2020, with greater interest if you want to play with the characters from that board game.

    10/10!

It is a standalone expansion, meaning it can be played without having the previous one or any other expansion. At the same time, it can be used in combination with the previous ones. On the internet, the opinions I found are that this version is comparable to the base Dune Imperium with the 2 expansions, and that's why I went for it. I have not regretted it at all. One of the most played strategy games that have passed through my hands. We have played it a lot.

Incredible game if you want to burn brain cells. Incredibly strategic. Easy rules, difficult to play well, which is the best part. Just because of the amount of thinking involved, it takes a long time. About 45 minutes per player at the beginning, possibly improving with experience. I haven't played the first version, but in this one, the deck building aspect and the battles are really important. If it was just worker placement, I wouldn't like it at all. The spies are an excellent addition, as they open up the worker placement aspect of the game even more. It plays better with 3 players. In a 2-player game, there is an automatic 3rd player with their own deck of cards. It can also be played 3 against 3. It does not support 5 players. Highly recommended!
