Scholars of the South Tigris is a new standalone game in the South Tigris trilogy, set during the peak of the Abbasid Caliphate, around 830 AD. The Caliph has called upon the most prominent scholars to acquire scientific manuscripts from all over the known world. Players must increase their influence in the House of Wisdom and hire capable linguists to translate foreign manuscripts into Arabic. In this Golden Age of wisdom and knowledge, be careful not to neglect one in the pursuit of the other.
