The GBS Elettronica 45980/5G-EU masthead amplifier combines two independent UHF inputs into one output for use in communal antenna systems. It amplifies each channel by 40 dB and operates in the 470–694 MHz band. The built-in 5G filter attenuates signals in the 694–862 MHz band, while the 4G filter covers the 694–790 MHz band.

Gain is adjustable from 20 to 40 dB for each UHF band, and the maximum output level is 115 dBµV. Automatic remote power supply provides 12 Vdc / 90 mA to power connected components remotely.
