Gemma kochia seeds come from the variety Kochia scoparia var. trichophila, an annual ornamental plant with dense, fine foliage and an oval shape. Suitable for borders, the plant grows in a sunny location and can be pruned to give its crown different shapes. In autumn, its foliage changes from light green to purplish red.
