Possibly, along with Resident Evil 1, the best horror game so far. I had never seen Alien before, I had only played Alien Vs Predator, and it really was everything I expected and more.
It is nerve-wracking, requires strategic ability (where to go, how to go, how to use what you can construct and your resources), perception and good orientation (being able to read maps easily), because wandering around the space station is a bit complex. The soundtrack based on the first movie fits perfectly with this game, making you feel alone, helpless, trapped in a "maze" of narrow corridors and closed doors (not recommended for claustrophobic people), facing a practically unbeatable enemy, the Xenomorph.
This game has something incredibly realistic about it! You feel like you are in a hostile and challenging environment from many perspectives, where everything wants to kill you, from the aliens to the robots and humans. The alien is not just an enemy with repetitive movements, who will behave in a specific way in the new game that you are familiar with. No! And that's what's amazing here: the unpredictable enemy (dynamic AI) that you can't read, and that can locate you when you use the motion tracker on the Nightmare difficulty level. The whole title "Isolation" becomes fully understandable at the end of the game, when Amanda gives it her all as the sole survivor, just like Ellen Ripley in the first movie. As for the plot, I liked that at times you take a break from the alien and deal with the working Joes, thinking that the threat on the spaceship is no longer there. I loved the plot twists, as well as the dynamic, peaceful, reserved, and calm character of Amanda.
As for the graphics, I have no complaints so far, everything looks bright and very clear.
If I had to mention ONLY ONE NEGATIVE thing about this game, it is that it is 2024 AND WE ARE STILL WAITING FOR ISOLATION 2!!! It's a shame that such games don't have sequels!
Note: Play the game on Nightmare difficulty and you will enjoy the Full Experience. Hardcore is a joke compared to it.

Really epic game.. I played this game in 2023 and I really enjoyed it to the fullest.. It's a different survival horror, without guns (although you can use weapons in the game, it's just not always the best approach), and clearly based on stealth approach.. Its sound is truly a gem.. The space and sci-fi environments, combined with its amazing sound and the fear of the alien constantly being on your heels, provide a terrifying experience that is truly commendable.. Having also played Resident Evil 7, which is considered one of the scariest and atmospheric games on the PS4, I can't say that it was better in terms of horror and atmosphere than Alien.. In terms of the story, the game excels, with a plot that always keeps you on edge, and a finale that will truly leave you speechless.. Okay, in terms of graphics, we're talking about a game that is now a decade old, so don't expect perfect character graphics, but in terms of environments, I can say that the graphics were paid special attention to.. Overall, it's a game that if you want to be scared and anxious, get it 100%.. I played it in 2023 for the first time and honestly, I didn't regret a minute of it no matter how many times I played the cat-and-mouse game with the alien, the atmospheric sound and the environments don't get tiresome, and as I mentioned before, it's a game that focuses on stealth rather than action.. Finally, I can say that I'm not the biggest fan of the Alien movie series (personally, I've only seen the first one from 1979, which is also the one that the developers recommend watching before playing the game, because it takes place a few years after the end of the first movie) but that didn't stop me from enjoying the game.. Guys, if you're looking for something horror, get a good pair of headphones, turn off the lights, and buy it with your eyes closed

An awesome horror game, without unnecessary shooting and action. The protagonist, Amanda Ripley (daughter of beloved Ellen Ripley), and the Alien are the main ingredients that keep the interest and terror constant until the end.

The Alien hunts the player very cleverly, learns its patterns, and generally ensures constant terror and appearing out of nowhere. Especially on higher difficulties, it requires strong nerves to endure the continuous chase.

There are situations that require combat, either against the space station's robots or against the Alien, but the goal is to avoid them. Amanda cannot harm the Alien, only scare it and repel it. The robots are also resilient (so they require a lot of ammunition to be destroyed), and often gather in groups of 2-3, making it almost impossible to defend oneself. Overall, it remains faithful to the original idea of the invincible Alien, where a frontal attack is futile.

On the other hand, a negative aspect that I don't often mention is the long duration. It took me about 20 hours for the first playthrough, and I felt fatigue towards the end. If it were 3-4 hours shorter, I think it would have ended at the ideal point to avoid exhaustion. Technically flawless, excellent sound, impeccable production from every aspect. Hopefully, we will see a sequel.

Το καλύτερο horror game στο διάστημα ακόμα και τώρα. Γενικά σε αυτό το game μας προσφέρει καλες εμπειρίες στην επιβιωση παιχνιδιού. Στο διαστημόπλοιο Sevastopol που είναι αρκετά μεγάλο για μακρίνα ταξίδια και εξερευνήσεις στους ξένους πλανήτες τις οποίες είναι επικίνδυνες, βίαιες, άσχημες καιρικές συνθήκες και τέρατα.Το διαστημόπλοιο δεν είναι ασφαλές επειδή μερικοί αστροναύτες πήγαν σε ένα πλανήτη το οποίο είναι κατοικίσιμο με εξωγήινους. Ένας αστροναύτης μολύνθηκε απο facehugger και μετά τον μετέφεραν στο Sevastopol για θεραπεία αλλά αργά. Ο εξωγήινος βγήκε απο την κοιλία του και μεγάλωσε μεσα σε αεραγωγούς ύστερα έκανε αυγά τα οποία είναι facehuggers για αναπαραγωγή!!!!Λοίπον το alien είναι βασικός "villain" σε όλο το game. Τα άλλα κακά ειναι κακοί άνθρωποι, facehuggers και androids.
Μέσα στο game υπάρχουν κακοί άνθρωποι για επιβίωση επείδη στο διαστημόπλοιο δεν είναι ασφαλές και μερικοί έπαθαν ψυχαναγκαστική κρίση (τρελάθηκαν) Έχουν γεμάτα όπλα απο τον πρωταγονιστή μας αλλά τα όπλα μας είναι κουλ και έξυπνα να σκοτώνουμε τους κακούς ανθρώπους αμα χρειαστεί.Τα androids είναι δυνατά ρομπότ και τρελά!!!Αυτά τα ρομπότ είναι πιο δύσκολα από τους κακούς ανθρώπους επειδή είναι δυνατοί σαν τον Captain america σε τραβάνε με ένα χέρι και σε πετάνε στον αέρα ύστερα μειώνει πολύ το health σου.Δεν μπορείς να τα σκοτώσεις εύκολα με ένα εργαλείο που το κρατάς από την αρχή του game, για να τα σκοτώσεις εύκολα πρέπει να έχεις όπλα(πιστόλι, καραμπίνα, και λέιζερ).Είναι σπαστικά ρομπότ που λένε συνέχεια "please dont run,i need to help you".
Λοιπόν ο εξωγήινος είναι χειρότερος απο όλα τα κακά πράγματα και πρέπει να επιβιώσεις για να μείνεις ζωντανός.Αν είσαι μακριά από save ckeckpoint και πρέπει να αποθηκεύσεις πάλι και σε σκοτώνει εξωγήινος τότε ξανά στο τελευταίο save.Προσοχή Τα Facehuggers που κάνουν εκπληκτικούς θανάτους, αυτό μπορεί να κάνει τα κεφάλια μας να πηδάμαι και να φωνάζουμε από τον τρόμο.Αν σε δεί ο εξωγήινος είσαι 100% νεκρός δεν προλαβαίνεις να κρυφτείς είναι γρήγορος,δυνάτος, έχει καλά αυτιά, δυνατό δέρμα, και καλά μάτια!!!!

Γενικά σε αυτό το game με έκανε ευτυχισμένος, χαρούμενος, τρομοκρατημένος σε κάθε φρικιαστική σκηνή, και συμμορφωμένος επειδή το game έχει ρεαλιστικό gameplay με καλά γραφικά. Σας το προτείνω αυτό το game, αν είστε horror fans δοκιμάστε το. Θα τρελαθείτε. Το βαθμολογώ 10/10!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Σας ευχαριστώ

Αριστουργημα. Παντα ημουνα fan των survival horror, αλλα το συγκεκριμενο παιχνιδι ξεπερασε καθε μου προσδοκια. Παιχνιδι προς μιμιση, πραγματικα!

Το gameplay του βασιζεται κατα 98% στο stealth. Τα οπλα που διαθετεις ειναι σχετικα αδυναμα και κυριος σκοπος τους ειναι ο αντιπερισπασμος ή η προσωρινη ακινητοποιηση του εχθρου. Οι εχθροι με τους οποιους ερχεσαι αντιμετωπος ειναι διαφοροι ανθρωποι, τα Androids και το Alien. Το AI των εχθρων ειναι χρονια μπροστα. Δεν αρκει να κρυφτεις κατω απο ενα τραπεζι ή πισω απο ενα γραφειο.. αν ερθεις σε οπτικη επαφη με τον εχθρο εστω και ελαχιστα ή αν κανεις θορυβο, αυτο ηταν. Σε ειδαν. Αν σε δουν, τρεχα να κρυφτεις! Αν σε δει το Alien, εισαι με πιθανοτητα 99,9% νεκρος. Το Alien (που ειναι και ο κυριος εχθρος που σε καταδιωκει) ειναι πανεξυπνο και απροβλεπτο. Ξεχαστε τα ρομποτικα stealth mechanics που βλεπατε σε αλλα games, το Alien ειναι αιμοβορο, πονηρο και δυσκολα θα το ξεγελασετε.

Ισως σε καποιους να μην αρεσει το γεγονος οτι το game δεν διαθετει autosaves και checkpoints, το οποιο πρεπει να παραδεχτω οτι καποιες φορες ειναι εκνευριστικο μιας και αν πεθανεις, πρεπει να ξανακανεις καποια missions απ΄την αρχη. Αλλα στην τελικη αυτο θα πει survival horror! Να προσπαθεις να βρεις το κοντινοτερο τηλεφωνο να κανεις save για να μην χασεις το progress σου, ενω παραλληλα σε περιτριγυριζει το Alien!

Απο 'κει και περα, το περιβαλλον ειναι αρκετα τρομακτικο και χαοτικο, με πολλους διαδρομους, πολλες κλειδωμενες πορτες οι οποιες δεν ανοιγουν και τοσο ευκολα, πολλα κρυφα, υπογεια μονοπατια, κ.λπ. Τα guns/tools που διαθετεις ειναι ενα περιστροφο, ενα flamethrower, καποιες βομβες που κανεις craft με διαφορα υλικα, και αλλα. Αν και δω που τα λεμε, το πιο χρησιμο απο ολα, ειναι το motion tracker που ουσιαστικα εντωπιζει την κινηση των εχθρων μεσα σε καποιο πεδιο.
