Trovet Renal & Oxalate pork canned food is a complete dietetic wet food intended for adult dogs with chronic renal insufficiency. Its limited protein and phosphorus content helps support the dietary management of kidney function, while its high biological value proteins meet amino acid requirements while producing a low amount of waste products. Its formula is also designed to reduce the formation of calcium oxalate.

The food helps the kidneys regulate water and electrolyte balance and remove waste metabolites. It contains potassium citrate, which helps increase urine pH and reduce calcium excretion in the urine. Veterinary advice is recommended before use. The initial recommended duration of feeding is up to 6 months; following an extension of the feeding period, it may be fed for life as a complete dietetic food.
