Description & Specifications

Don’t let low temperatures and cold weather keep you away from the dirt trails. The Alpinestars Thermo Shielder gloves are specially designed for MX and off-road riders seeking effective thermal protection and a windproof barrier, without the annoying bulk and stiffness of traditional winter road gloves.

Full Neoprene Thermal Protection

  • Neoprene Construction: The entire back of the glove is made from high-quality stretch neoprene, which acts as an excellent thermal barrier to keep your hands warm and functional in cold weather.
  • Windproof Fourchettes: The stretch panels between the fingers are fully windproof, preventing icy air (wind chill) from getting inside and freezing your fingers.

Durable Palm & Superior Grip

  • Synthetic Suede Palm: The synthetic suede palm offers excellent durability for demanding off-road use while remaining thin enough to provide a great feel on the grips and levers.
  • Silicone Prints: Strategically placed silicone graphics on the palm and fingers ensure a secure hold and complete control, even in muddy or very wet conditions.
  • Rolling Palm: The palm material wraps around the index finger and over the top for enhanced durability in high-friction areas.

Ergonomics & Secure Closure

  • PU Laser Lamination Protection: The back of the glove features a special laser-laminated finish for added durability and protection from branches and rocks.
  • Hypalon Closure: The short cuff features a closure strap made from durable Hypalon with integrated Velcro for a precise, snug and secure fit.
  • Extended Palm Puller: A special extension on the palm makes the gloves easy and quick to put on.

Features:

  • Materials: 100% stretch neoprene on the back, synthetic suede on the palm.
  • Season: Winter / Ideal for cold and cool off-road conditions.
  • Protection: PU laser-laminated reinforcements and perforated thumb/side patches for maximum durability.
  • Grip: Silicone on the fingers and palm for optimal traction.
  • Closure: Short cuff with adjustable Hypalon / Velcro closure.
